uff!! aabbaaaabbbababaaab (long time no C)
Its been a wonderful week and i feel like a new kid having a new gizmo. Yes!! joined Microsoft as a program manager. Though i feel quite excited, good things come with responsibilites and more responsibilities.
Accidently being Ajay is a boon :) on day 1 when i joined another Ajay also had joined . So being a gemini means two!! so two ajay's are fun!!
The day i joined, i happened to know many of them... the fraternity of MVP's and being popular amongst them (am i?) is a boon in disguise. It would be easy for us to navigate if they are working with you in the same organization. I happen to meet 4 other MVP's one an employee of MS and others are vendors.
I felt HOME!!
Though i had been worrying abt shifting to hyderabad, after going around i feel this is a cool place to live in !!
2nd day we (amit, ganesh, venu, gurneet myself ) went for lunch @ chilli peppers (hope i am correct) and i met the project managers for the diff projects which i am responsible. As you are aware of my energy levels. Its in a peak so went on to study some of the projects.
I think i am going to love this !!
3rd and 4th day were mainly on discovering what already was found. The admin stuff had happened . My mail name was clashing and some found it difficult to differentiate between ajay and ajay (some other person not the one i mentioned above). So, requested to change my id so that it can be simpler to decipher :)
i got it done !! my mail id has been changed and would be effective from the saturday onwards so i can be using that from monday onwards !!
so you want to have my email id its ajayg@microsoft.com what in the world is more sweeter than something happening the way you want it to happen.
The initial euphoria is getting over and i think i need to pull up my socks. Its going to be a terrfic weekend, i am having my house warming on this sunday.
Before next week start, i need to studiously study those presentations so as to prepare myself for the big thing thats going to happen ..
All the 10 Rounds of interviews are worth every minute ;)
